I am a big believer in athletics. I played sports all the way through college, so it was natural for me as a parent to sign my children up for sports as well. My girls have done it all, from softball to volleyball to basketball. But the sport they all seemed to gravitate to is soccer. They enjoy the game and I enjoy watching them play. And just like every parent, I want my girls to get the most out of the game they enjoy.
Now, when my girls first started to play, I thought I was pretty savvy when it came to sports. After all, I played sports as a kid and had been around athletics most of my life. But I still found myself feeling somewhat behind when it came to girls soccer. I would be at the store wondering how much to spend on cleats, I would be at home online looking up the different levels of soccer in the area, and I would sometimes find myself a little lost when my kid came home and asked for advice when it came to the position they played.
Well, over time I have learned a thing or two about girls soccer. This site here is a site that I wished I had when my kids first started playing. It is not perfect by any means, but hopefully it will provide you with some insight into world of girls soccer.
